How do you describe a color? And how the group of colours that compose a painting? And how the figures and the tales that animate a painting? How to repay Ligabue’s works for their sheer beauty without overlooking the fact that he was the village idiot?
The focus of this performance will be on the artist and on his inside world. The show investigates the short-circuit that occurred in Ligabue’s life, when the vertical lines of Swiss mountains collided with the horizontal lines of the Po Valley, where Ligabue painted alone hidden in the wood between the 50′s and the 60′s, and generated in his soul an explosive contrast, constantly denounced in his paintings.

This second movement of Ligabue project is performed by eight actors/dancers .
