The project “Logos – Rapsodia per Volterra” is a collective event of great importance that, just like two years ago on the occasion of the project “Mercuzio non vuole morire“, will involve the whole community and put it on stage. It is an idea started from the collaboration of Armando Punzo – within the project “La Ferita” to which VolterraTeatro Festival 2014 is dedicated – with Enrica Sangiovanni and Gianluca Guidotti from Archivio Zeta, a theatre company which is in charge for the renowned because of its memorable staging of classical Greek tragedies in the big open space of the German Military Cemetery of the Futa Pass.

On 25th September the whole city will be involved in a collective cultural ritual. Artists, together with the citizens of Volterra and the public are called to participated and to repair the relationship between people and their land by simply tying together the various symbols of the city by means of a long red ribbon (inspired by “Legarsi alla Montagna“, a work by Sardinian artist Maria Lai).
